2Rules for using the areas LKTRA101, LKTRA102, LKTRA103 and LKTRA104:
Activation of LKTRA101, LKTRA102, LKTRA103 and LKTRA104 areas detaches them from the controlled class D airspace within the area of responsibility of the competent ATC unit. When the areas become activated, class G airspace rules and conditions apply within the areas.
Separation from LKTRA101, LKTRA102, LKTRA103 a LKTRA104 areas, which become class G airspace, is not provided.
The frequency for competitions issued by the Ministry of Transport (hereinafter referred to as “MoT”) must be used in LKTRA101, LKTRA102, LKTRA103, LKTRA104 areas. The frequency will be requested from the MoT by the competition organizer Aeroklub Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, z.s. (hereinafter referred to as “organizer”).
Coordination of flight operations in LKTRA101, LKTRA102, LKTRA103 and LKTRA104 with flight operations in TRA GA VELKÝ JAVORNÍK will be carried out for the duration of the FL2025 competition on the basis of an agreed arrangement between the organiser of the air competition and the Administrator of TRA GA VELKÝ JAVORNÍK.
In the activated areas, the provision of FIS will be ensured by the FIC SECTOR MORAVA unit of ANS CR.
At the time of activation of the areas, in addition to the frequency for competitions
issued by the MoT, the FRÝDLANT RADIO unit will always be activated, available on
the frequency channel 123,490 and on the telephone number +420 558 677 616.
The backup telephone connection is on the telephone number +420 777 000 494.
All competition gliders shall remain on continuous listening mode on the frequency channel designated for competitions by the MoT and on frequency channel 136.275 MHz of the FIC SECTOR MORAVA unit during the entire time they are operating within the activated airspaces. Communication between competitors is conducted on the frequency channel issued by the MD for competitions and the flight information service is provided on the relevant frequency channel of FIC SEKTOR MORAVA. This requirement will be made known to all pilots at the initial mandatory competitor briefing, and then again at the morning briefing on the competition day on which the areas will be activated for competition purposes.
Information about status of the area activation/deactivation will be provided by ACC Praha and FIC Praha.
Areas LKTRA101, LKTRA102, LKTRA103, LKTRA104 are managed by AMC.
The user of these areas is obliged to use them in accordance with the AIP CR (ENR 1.1.9. Planning procedures for airspace use). And for this reason, the space user (representative of the space user) must:
- every day before 10.00 a.m. UTC to specify to AMC changes in this reservation (time reduction, vertical limit reduction, cancellation) for the following day, which will be published via AUP,
- immediately notify the AMC of any changes to the AUP, in particular cancellation or early termination of the activity for the day, which will be published via the UUP,
- no later than 20 minutes before the start of the activity, activate the relevant areas at the AMC according to the AIP CR,
- immediately after the end of the activity, deactivate the relevant areas at the AMC in accordance with the AIP CR (deactivation is not carried out if the next activity is expected within 60 minutes after the end of the previous activity). Reactivation of the relevant premises is necessary to restart the activity,
- ensure that the published area activation time is not exceeded.
3Rules for entering of other users of the Czech airspace not participating in the FL2025 competition:
Information on the current status of the activation of the areas will be provided by FIC Praha and ACC Praha. The validity of the information provided is 15 minutes. After this time the pilot must consider the areas activated.
On the published days, aircraft will be allowed access to LKTRA101, LKTRA102, LKTRA103 and LKTRA104 on the basis of a flight clearance issued by the relevant unit providing ATC service. The following flights will always be allowed access:
- Police flights, flights for human life rescue (SAR, HEMS) and firefighting flights, which may enter this area under the clearance issued by the relevant unit providing ATC service,
- In the event of an urgent need for the entry of Czech Air Force aircraft into these areas in the performance of NATINAMDS (NATO Integrated Air and Missile Defence System) and NaPoSy PVO CR (National Air Defence Reinforcement System of the Czech Republic), the aforementioned ATC service unit is entitled to temporarily interrupt the competition.
