Note: In connection with SAR MEET 2025, area LKTSA7 will also be active from GND up to 4000 ft AMSL daily from 05 to 06 AUG 2025 between 0700–0900 and 1000–1500 UTC.
3Guidelines for the use of airspace for SAR MEET 2025:
3.1The designated areas are intended exclusively for flights conducted within the framework of the SAR MEET 2025 exercise (OAT flights). The Control and Reporting Centre (CRC) provides alerting service, flight information service, and, where feasible, flight monitoring service within these areas.
3.2These areas have the status of Temporary Reserved Areas (TRA).
3.3These areas take priority over affected TRA/TSA areas published in AIP Czech Republic (ENR 5.2 and AIP SUP) as well as over affected areas published via NOTAM.
3.4Unless otherwise specified in this AIP SUP, these areas will be used in their full horizontal and vertical extent.
3.5Planned use of these areas, including any subsequent modifications (reduction or cancellation), will be published via AUP/UUP.
3.6Individual areas will be activated and deactivated in accordance with procedures described in AIP Czech Republic.
3.7The airspace user (or user representative) must:
- Confirm or update usage details for the next day with MAMC by 10:00 UTC each day (confirmation of the plan, reduction of time/altitude, cancellation), to be published via AUP.
- Immediately inform MAMC of any changes from the AUP (especially early termination or cancellation), which will be published via UUP.
- Activate the relevant areas with MAMC no later than 20 minutes before the start of activity, in accordance with AIP Czech Republic.
- Deactivate the relevant areas with MAMC immediately after the end of activity in accordance with AIP Czech Republic (deactivation is not required if activity is expected to resume within 60 minutes). To resume operations, the relevant areas must be reactivated.
- The published activation time must not be exceeded.
4Principles for entry into SAR MEET 2025 airspace by other airspace users not participating in the exercise:
4.1Information about the current activation status of the respective areas is provided by FIC Praha. The validity of the provided information is 15 minutes; after that, the pilot must consider the areas as active.
4.2Flights by aircraft not involved in the exercise may exceptionally be permitted entry upon clearance issued by CRC (via the relevant civil ATS unit).
4.3Entry will always be permitted for the following flights:
- Czech Police flights, flights for human life rescue (SAR, HEMS), and firefighting flights, upon clearance issued by CRC (via the relevant civil ATS unit).
- Flights under NATINAMDS (NATO Integrated Air and Missile Defence System) and NaPoSy PVO CR (National Air Defense Reinforcement System of the Czech Republic), which have priority over the exercise flights. Entry into the exercise airspace is subject to clearance issued by CRC.
